Thankfully the other port still works. How important is that? Same thought about the OEM Windows 7 and 10. But i never find other ThinkPad best (at least for me) than the Very Best T30. Some processors undervolt excellently, and some processors undervolt horribly. So, the usb-c port closest to the back will not consistently stay connected. If you specifically want a centered keyboard (no numpad), look into P1 / X1 Extreme first generation machines. Lenovo's fix was apparently a bios upgrade which did nothing to help. I push with a niddle the little hole behind the pc. I've then tried to re-install some ThinkPad drivers.
